Certificate II in Process Manufacturing

This course is for people in the process manufacturing industries who want to develop high-level skills in the operations and practices in their workplace.  This qualification provides training for production support workers who fill a vital role in supporting production operators but may not be directly involved in producing products. The qualification is also suitable for production operators involved in specialised processes not formally recognised as an industry sector. It provides training in the assembly of materials and equipment for production, monitoring of process operations and basic maintenance.  You will learn how to solve technical problems as an operator of specialised equipment and processes. You will also learn to apply quality practices and workplace communication.

This course requires 14 units to be completed for the qualification, consisting of 5 core units, and at least 9 further units from the production or support units.

Certificate III in Process Manufacturing

This an appropriate qualification for production support workers and operators of specialist processes in the process manufacturing industry. The qualification provides training in setting up and prepare for production, troubleshooting and faultfinding, as well as the supervision of production support workers and facilitation of teams.

This course requires 21 units to be completed for the qualification, consisting of 5 core units, and at least 8 further units from the production or support units.
